Suavv: So how long have you been a model?
Jasmin: About 2 years
S: Can you remember when you wanted to start? How did that happen?
J: I had a friend who was a photographer approach me. He thought I could take some nice pictures so I did it.
S: Who have you modeled for so far?
J: I have been in Girls of Lowrider, Planet Pit, Ms-Hardbody, Mixed Mag and ICE Magazine.
S: What is something about you that people don’t know or would shock them?
J: I am a really a down to earth person, I love nature, simple things.
S: Being a model, do you find that guys are intimidated by your beauty?
J: Maybe, but there is nothing to be intimiated by, the worst thing I could say is no.
S: Have you had jealous boyfriends? How did you deal with that?
J: Yeah, it’s hard in this business so you need to find men that are secure with themselves and have their own dreams and goals. I have been lucky.
S: What kind of girl are you? There is the “chill type.” That’s the girl that can hang with the fellas and still be a lady with her man. Then there is the “always sexy, girlie girl” type. That’s the girl that always has to look good and will not do certain things because “sweat is nasty.” I think you get the point.
J: I am never a girly girl. You can catch me on the town looking like a million bucks or chilln at home in sweats watcing the Heat!
S: What type of guys are you attracted to?
Confident, Successful men. That is very important to me.
S: How should a guy approach you? How shouldn’t they?
J: Just come correct. No games and lines. Just be you.
S: What is the best line that a guy said to you that worked? What was the
worst?
J: I don’t do pick up lines so I don’t remember any. A guy who is nice looking, motivated and takes care of himself can ask any woman “can I buy you dinner?” and win most of the time.
S: What are you most embarrassed by? S: What are some of the challenges that you face from day to day where you
are from?
J: I am proud of everything I have done this far in my life. But this business is hard. Lots of fake people, pretenders. You got to stay on your toes.
S: (You’re not obligated to answer this one if you don’t want to) How do you
approach sex with men? Do you have a time rule?
J: I have to like you, Know you. So I don’t have a time rule. There just needs to be a connection
S: What is your fantasy?
J: Travel the world. That would be nice.
S: If you can do anything and money were not a factor, what would it be?
J: Fitness, Help people get into shape and feel good about themselves. I would like that.
